Plame’s Lawsuit Against Bush Administration Dismissed

July 19, 2007 by Dan Solis

We now live in a country where the insane war-hawks call the sane anti-war people traitors and treasonous. But when those same hawks actually commit treason themselves, they are not held accountable or convicted of treason.

Today comes news that Valerie Plame’s lawsuit against Bush administration officials has been dismissed. In case you don’t know about the story, back at the start of the War in Iraq, Valerie was an undercover CIA operative. Her husband, Joe Wilson, was an ambassador who was investigating the reasons as to why Bush and his pals wanted to invade Iraq. He could not find anything but lies and cover ups.

This did not make Bush or his administration happy. So they got back by leaking Plame’s identity to the media. Then Scooter Libby was caught lying about the whole thing, so he was convicted. Plame then filed a civil suit against the Bush administration, which was dismissed in court today.

U.S. District Judge John D. Bates dismissed the case on jurisdictional grounds and said he would not express an opinion on the constitutional arguments. Bates dismissed the case against all defendants: Cheney, White House political adviser Karl Rove, former White House aide I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby and former Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage. [washingtonpost.com]

Now there are claims that the judge who dismissed the suit is a “loyal Bushie”.

LIES, COVERUPS, LAWSUITS, CRONYISM, TREASON, FOREIGN OCCUPATION, DEATH…ALL in one administration.

IMPEACHMENT ANYONE?

Libbys sentence commutation wasn’t right. But in my opinion dismissal of the civil suit was fair. People really shouldn’t expect money every time they are wronged. And in a lot of civil suits it seems that’s all people want.
