Tony Snow Resigns.

August 31, 2007 by koko chassid · 1 Comment

Bush puppeting Snow.

~White House Press Secretary Tony Snow, who fought for an embattled president while undergoing treatment for cancer, is leaving Sept. 14 and will be replaced by his deputy, Dana Perino. ~ The Politico.

The Tony Snow era is over. All the covering up and the flipping and flopping. This Dana Perino will hopefully speak for herself representing the administration , not a Bush puppet. Who knows he is probably pissed Chris Wallace took over his “old” job.

The Gay Difference

August 30, 2007 by Joshua Davis · 2 Comments

Senator David Vitter, the guy who had sex with woman prostitutes was welcomed back with applause from other Republicans. Many even came to his defense. But when Larry Craig solicits another man for sex, the party pressure him to relinquish his committees, and some even call for his resignation.

I wonder if the idea of homosexuality being un-Christian is really their cause in hating it. I mean homosexuality from a Christian perspective is just as wrong as sex outside of marriage. And in terms of family protection, I know many more families broken apart by affairs followed by divorce, then by homosexuality.

Both senators committed crimes, both should have to resign. I’m in no way supporting Craig, because we should not have convicted criminals in office. But I would like to see both the morality police and the “get the street thug in jail” police hold their own accountable to equal standards.

Democratic Leadership Council proposes “Expanding Learning Time” in schools

August 28, 2007 by Thomas Senecal · 3 Comments

DLC Playbook

Today the Democratic Leadership Council, a central, private arm of the Democratic party, issued an email as part of their “State and Local Playbook,” in which they suggested that schools today do not have enough learning time, and more time needs to be added. One method is mandatory summer school for all students. These extra hours result in 1.2 extra years of school for students. Despite the obvious fact that I love my vacation, I think that this is ridiculous on a number of more factual levels.

15 year old’s Guantanamo story

August 27, 2007 by Jordan Stearns · 3 Comments

In 2002, 15 year-old Omar Khadr was sent to Guantanamo bay after killing US serviceman Christopher Speer with a hand grenade in Afghanistan. Khadr is a Canadian citizen who left for Afghanistan in 1997 when he was ten. He reportedly went through an Al-Qaida training school for four years, and graduated at 15.On July 27, 2002, Khadr was involved in a skirmish with a group of US soldiers. The group that Khadr was in surrendered, but he jumped out from hiding and threw a hand grenade at the soldiers. He killed Speer and injured three others. Khadr was shot three times and captured by the remaining soldiers. He was not charged with anything, given no sentence, or even had a hearing. Read more

Disney Tries Its Hand at Urban Planning, Again

August 26, 2007 by Joshua Davis · 3 Comments

Disney has united both Democratic and Republican law makers in Anaheim, California, by trying to override their city’s decision to rezone land next to their theme park.

According to Fast Food Nation, Disney, McDonald’s, and a few other similar corporations were responsible for the creation of the squeaky clean suburbs that 52% of Americans live in. It helped them to leave the “Over crowed cities filled with people who where different then them.” Of course Disney continues to help Americans escape reality with their movies, music, and other media.

But Disney has taken their fantasy world a bit far by opposing both the city of Anaheim and a developer who wants to build some affordable housing next to Disney’s fantasy land. In order for this to occur the land would have to be rezoned. Disney feels the presence of affordable housing - and the types that occupy them - would harm their park. So the very housing that men and woman dressing up as Mickey Mouse and serving funnel cakes at their park would live in, Disney doesn’t want.

Barack Obama crossing party lines

August 26, 2007 by Jeff Pritchard · 9 Comments

Most pundits would agree that the candidate that will win the 2008 Election can’t just appeal to the base, but needs to also be a top choice for Independents. This is one of the biggest fears about the Hillary campaign. Even if she can win the Democratic Primary, will she be able to appeal to those outside of the Democratic party? Read more

CASTRO DEAD? Rumors Flying in Miami.

August 26, 2007 by koko chassid · 2 Comments

DrudgeReport.com reported the sudden death of Fidel Castro dictator of Cuba. And then NBC in Miami said that is it is most likely not true.

If he is dead it will mean that most of the Cuban people will probably immigrate to the US. Even the Republicans would let this migration happen (excluding Tom Tancredo). Or Raul Castro will keep everybody there and they will be stuck for the next few decades.

The Iraq War

August 25, 2007 by Harrison · Leave a Comment

America invaded Iraq in 2003. Since then, an estimated 3,725 U.S. soldiers have been killed and 655,000 Iraqi civilians have died due to the war. It has cost 1.2 trillion dollars of tax payers’ hard earned money, all for a war that the majority of the nation doesn’t support. There are no weapons of mass destruction, and there is no Osama Bin Laden in Iraq. Even Henry Kissinger, the former secretary of state has stated that the war is isn’t winnable militarily. Henry Haass, the president of the Council on Foreign Relations has said the same thing. It is my opinion that we invaded for the personal gain of our corrupt government and ungodly rich people they are such good friends with. But at this point that’s irrelevant. What is relevant is that we need to pull out of Iraq. Even The Kurds, who Hussein himself gassed in 1988 said they felt safer when he was in charge of the country. Only a third of Iraqis think American occupation is doing more good than harm, and a definite majority of the country support an immediate withdrawal of American troops. And our devolved chimp like corrupt president still says we should remain in Iraq. At this point, my question is, what solid definite reason is there for staying in Iraq? The war is a violent blood bath draining lives and valuable tax dollars. The money we spend in Iraq could be used for more productive things such as cleaning up the environment, education, fighting crime, fixing roads, or cutting down on our ridiculous oil consumption and switching to renewable energy, which is cheaper, and doesn’t contribute to the widely debated, but very real global warming. Or, we could be using the money to find Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda, the real terrorist threat. So, I say, as part of the majority of the American people, that we need to withdraw our troops from Iraq, before we grind America’s economy into the ground, and waste more valuable lives.

Sincerely,

Imij

Why Hillary Won’t Be Another Bill

August 24, 2007 by Joshua Davis · 4 Comments

I never understood why so many people support Hillary Clinton. But Edwards explained it, by saying it was a nostalgia left from Bill Clinton. I look back on the Clinton era with fondness, I remember how every business had a banner bigger than the business next to it declaring “Now hiring.” I remember it as largely a time of peace.

But we’re living in a different world now. Global terrorism has become a large issue, in part because of legislation Hillary voted for. When Clinton entered office we had just won a war, and most of the world viewed us a hero for freeing Kuwait. Of course the economy was bad due to twelve years of Republican economics, but at least the recession was an American issue. Now because Asia owns so many of our dollars, and our jobs, entry level and blue collar jobs will be harder to create.

And most of all Bill was a uniter. The Republicans did hate him - but it was more hatred because they disagreed with his policies - not because he ran roughshod over the American people like Bush. But I believe Hillary will ram laws through in much the same way as Bush - ignoring the will of the congress, and even more of the American people.

Maybe I’m wrong about all of this, and Bill will be the one running the White House. And if he is that will be a bad trend for America. Instead of each president having eight years in office, they’ll just run their wives (I guess Giuliani would be in office forever) and continue their same policies.

From Wed. August 22nd, co-hosted by Dan Solis, Johnny Camacho, Jeff Pritchard, Savage apologist KoKo Chassid, Jordan Stearns and Thomas Senecal. We discussed how Hillary believes the new Iraq War strategy is “working” and how Dennis Kucinich has “Jusdom”.

We also spoke to Bill Bowman the author of “Savage Lies about Michael Savage and the Fairness Doctrine. Thanks Bill, “Keep the faith”.

sal-mohamed.jpgWe tried to talk to Sal Mohamed but he HUNG UP on Think Youth. When questioned about how being born in Egypt makes him ineligible to be elected President of the United States, Sal hung up.

“(I was) born physically, by body in Egypt, at the same time, born spiritually, by soul in America and in 1977 when I came to America, the body and soul came together.” [Grant Miller Media]

We called Sal back, he shut off his phone, and hilarity ensued.
